I am someone with a mind that never stops racing. Thought trains as quick as a bullet, I am invigorated and overwhelmed all at once. Although I sit in the conductor’s seat, it is a wild, complex machine with pages missing from the operating manual. With unlimited lines of inquiry all operating at once, my mind often wanders to things beyond the present. Allowing my mind to drift is an integral way that I cope with the world. However, while dreaming, my subconscious fully erupts into the plane, and exposes the thoughts I bury while awake. Sometimes, navigating my travels between the virtual and reality can be disorienting, causing a feeling of confusion and muddled thoughts. My work seeks to examine the blurred line between these two planes of existence, where the remanence of my travels leaves only the hint of their corporality before evaporating.
